‘Kavitaon ka Jadui Pitara’, the first book in the series of Hindi poems written by Devyani Mungali, was launched on September 19, 2019, by Dr. Kiran Bedi. An exciting collection of Hindi poems that are funny, educative, informative and imaginative for children, the book equally appeals to adults as well as children, while also promoting the Hindi language amongst all.
‘Matwali Manchali Kavitayein’, the second book in the series of Hindi poems written by Devyani Mungali was unveiled and presented to Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, former member of Rajya Sabha, on December 12, 2020. The book is a collection of poems in Hindi which are sure to appeal to children and young adults, while also educating them and promoting the Hindi language.
‘Khattee Meethi Raseeli Kavitayein’, the third book in the series of Hindi poems written by Devyani Mungali was blessed by His Holiness The Dalai Lama on October 18, 2021. This collection of Hindi poems for children will benefit the inquisitive minds of children and adults alike.
‘Chatpati Chulbuli Kavitayein’, the fourth book in the series of Hindi poems written by Devyani Mungali was unveiled by Shri Ajay Bhatt, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Defence and Tourism, on August 12, 2023, at the Sanskriti Awards of Outstanding Achievements.
Gudgudati Khilkhilati Kavitayein, the fifth book in the series of short Hindi poems written by Devyani Mungali, was unveiled at the Epicurious LitFest 2024 organized by the Sanskriti Group of Schools. The book was launched by acclaimed author Mr. Saksham Garg in November 2024. The poems in this book not only entertain, but also increase our sense of belonging to the Hindi language. These poems attempt to teach children playfully and help them enrich their Hindi vocabulary.
The first book in the series of Albeli and Raghu – ‘Friends Forever’ was launched by acclaimed author, Ms. Namita Gokhale, at the Epicurious LitFest hosted by the Sanskriti Group of Schools. She especially remarked on the lucid language of the storybook, which is a tale of deep friendship between a human and an animal. The story revolves around the lives of Raghu and Albeli (an elephant), set against the backdrop of the Jim Corbett National Park.
The second book of the Albeli and Raghu series – ‘The Tale of Langurs’ was unveiled at the Pune International Literary Festival 2022 at Yashada, Baner (Pune). Devyani Mungali did a storytelling session where she read excerpts from the book. A tale of deep friendship between Raghu and Albeli, this story revolves around the antics of one naughty langur and the impact it has on his entire clan.
Celebrating the magical journey into the heart of the Sundarbans, the third book in the Albeli and Raghu series ‘Enchanting Sundarbans’, was unveiled at the Pune International Literary Festival 2023, by famous author and curator of PILF 2023, Ms. Manjiri Prabhu. The children were all excited to embark on this exciting journey with Raghu and his family as they explored the ‘enchanting Sundarbans’.
The fourth book in the Albeli and Raghu series – ‘Exploring the Sundarbans’ was unveiled at the Enlit Awards 2024 (hosted by Enlit Kids), by Enlit Kids owner Ms. Vrushali Barbare and famous author, Ms. Katie Bagli. This book was unveiled on April 21, 2024, and explores the intriguing journey into the mysterious depths of the Sundarbans through the eyes of the main characters: a must-have for every nature lover.
Shhhh! Suno! Saadiyaan bhi bolti hain! the bilingual (Hindi and English) book was launched at the LitBug Fest in Pune on April 20, 2024, (hosted by the StoryStation and Katha Mehfil), by festival curator Ms. Vaishali Kulkarni and Ms. Devyani Mungali. An interactive quiz focusing on the different weaves, drapes and types of sarees left the audience engaged and wanting more. This experiential book gives the readers a sensory sneak peek into the wardrobe of a little girl’s mother who has different kinds of sarees. As the little girl rummages through her wardrobe, she discovers one beauty after the other, each with a unique story to share.
The latest gem from Anokha Pitara ‘Super Talents of Grandparents’ (English storybook) was unveiled at the Epicurious LitFest 2024 by acclaimed author of bestseller book ‘Samsara’, Mr. Saksham Garg. This book highlights how grandparents are very, very special people and the beautiful memories they create together with their grandchildren that last a lifetime. Although grandparents may not always bequeath their grandchildren with wealth and family heirlooms, they give them invaluable gifts to cherish and hold close to their hearts forever.
Ms. Devyani Mungali dived into the depths of myth and legend by joining author Mr. Shatrujeet Nath, at the launch of his book ‘Warlord of Ayodhya – Part 2: Resurrection’, on January 20, 2024, at Crossword Bookstore in Aundh, Pune. Joining her at this thrilling book launch, the second book in his trilogy, were Ms. Manjiri Prabhu (author and founder of PILF) and RJ Tarun (award-winning RJ at Fever FM). The session was moderated by Amit Rawat.
